How it works & common questions
Which DNS records can I query?
A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SOA and CAA are supported. Underscore names used by DKIM are accepted, such as selector._domainkey.example.com.
Why do I still see an old record?
Resolvers may retain a cached response. TTL describes cache lifetime. Compare Cloudflare and Google results here; this is not a worldwide propagation test.
Does a lookup change my DNS?
No. The tool only reads public DNS responses. It does not sign in or modify configuration. A missing record and a nonexistent name are shown separately.
